A perfect system is a system aware of its own imperfection. The truly perfect system is a system which is nil and following all.

Facebook Funded by Neo-Con
Interesting, albeit fluttering & badly written, article from The Guardian on the less appealing side of Facebook; they only have 3 members on board and 1 of them is a an avid neo-con with a philosophical angle on how to best exploit the masses.. neat.. NOT.

The Shock of Robber Capitalism
"The Shock Doctrine" by Naomi Klein serves a very useful purpose (among other things) it highlights how the war industry is profiting more and more from continual conflict across the globe - to the point where its interests are now permanently embedded in the political decision process in the western hemisphere. The 'war on terror' has become a manipulative funnel that sift the public budget directly into the private arms industry while at the same time providing the ideological background for doing so. This is not isolated to the US, rather it is a permanent ongoing affair that have already undermined democracy considerable in both the US and Europe. My belief is that the only way to halt this process is to put antitrust restrictions back in place alongside with a solid ban on corporate lobbyism so that corporations can be stopped from manipulating and damaging the democratic process.
